Getting started

Welcome to Doft Dispatch. Here's how to get up and running in a few minutes.

1. Create your workspace

When you sign up you create a workspace — your company's home in Doft. Choose a plan and enter a card to start the trial shown at sign-up. On the same plan, nothing is charged until the trial ends. Changing plans during the trial ends it and can charge immediately; Stripe shows the amount before you confirm.

2. Add a carrier profile

Open the standalone Carriers section (or finish the onboarding wizard) and add your carrier: legal name, USDOT/MC numbers, and remit-to address. Invoices and documents are organized per carrier, so this comes first.

3. Add trucks and drivers

Use the standalone Trucks and Drivers sections to add trucks and drivers. Enter the driver's contact details. They open their invitation, confirm how to reach them, and choose whether they want text messages; then you can assign them loads. If a driver has not opened theirs yet, you can send it again, copy the link into WhatsApp, or confirm them yourself from their card. Either way there is no app to install.

4. Create your first load

Open the Dispatch board and choose Add load. You can type the details in, or let the AI fill them from a rate confirmation (see "How AI parsing works"). Drag a load between columns to change its status.

5. Invite your team

Owners can invite teammates under Settings → Users & permissions and choose each person's role (dispatcher, accountant, viewer, and so on).
